Learn why alligators are awesome as we explore their role in the ecosystem, discuss alligator
research at the Tom Yawkey Wildlife Center, and view alligators in their natural habitat. This
program is designed to be family friendly for children elementary age and older, but all children
must be accompanied by an adult. It will be shorter in duration and include material and
activities for younger audiences. This trip requires little walking, put participants will need to
navigate 2 floating docks and a pontoon boat to cross the Intracoastal Waterway, as well as a few
steps onto the tour bus. Bring a snack and drink.
