Do you have a budding naturalist, birder, or photographer in your family? This trip is just for them! Kids and parents will join SCDNR staff on a special kid-friendly version of our regular birding and wildlife photography trip. All skill levels are welcome – come and learn photography basics (camera or cell phone photography), how to use binoculars, identify birds, wildlife, and more! All children must be accompanied by an adult. This trip requires little walking, but participants will need to navigate 2 floating docks and a pontoon boat to cross the Intracoastal Waterway, as well as a few steps onto the tour bus. Bring a snack and drink. Trips start at 10:00 and run until approximately 2:00, although kids’ trips usually end a little sooner.
