Earth Day Nature Walk

April 22, 2026 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Celebrate Earth Day with a walk at the Tom Yawkey Wildlife Center, still considered to be one of the greatest gifts to wildlife conservation in North America. Experience a taste of the important ecosystems protected here, as well as discussion on their history, management, and future challenges. As with any visit to Yawkey, keep your eyes peeled for birds and wildlife! Participants should be prepared to cross the Intracoastal Waterway via pontoon boat, as well as walking on relatively even ground. Bring a bag lunch and drink. This time of year always has the potential to be buggy so come prepared! Trips start at 10:00 and run until approximately 2:00.
