Salt Marsh Walk

March 28 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Breathe in the scent of pluff mud and explore the brackish marsh, discussing the ecology and history along the way. Keep your camera and binoculars handy, as there are always plenty of birds around! This will be a leisurely hike, with stops along the way for nature viewing and lunch. Participants should be prepared to cross the Intracoastal Waterway via pontoon boat, as well as walking on relatively even ground. Bring a bag lunch and drink. This time of year always has the potential to be buggy so come prepared! Trips start at 10:00 and run until approximately 2:00.
