Spring Wildflower Walk
The Yawkey Wildlife Center is home to many varieties of wildflowers that bloom throughout the year. Explore different locations and learn about the wildflowers currently blooming, including plant ID tips and their role in the ecosystem. Walking will take place in multiple shorter sections, with a stop for lunch along the way. Participants should be prepared to cross the Intracoastal Waterway via pontoon boat, as well as around 3 miles of walking on relatively even ground. Bring a bag lunch and drink. Trips start at 10:00 and run until approximately 2:00.
